Guido de’Costanzo commissioned CNC Projects to manufacture a sculpture for the front facade of a retail business. He provided us with small 3D ceramic tiles containing the sculpture, it was our role to turn these tiles into a 7mx4m wall feature out of solid timber.

To create this we 3D scanned the tiles and reverse engineered the result into a usable model which we could manipulate into a machinable surface. Once the design had been developed it was cut from solid oak planks fixed to a hidden structure behind.
